The new version has been designed for a better usability in frontend. The list and detail views of categories and items have now a clearer design, granting a comfortable user interface. Furthermore some new functions have been introduced for the PRO version.

With the new KISS Advertiser version KISS has introduced some new functions. As most KISS Software products for Joomla, KISS Advertiser can update via the Joomla updateserver function. Update can now managed via one single mouseclick. Very comfortably. Furthermore the component was optimized for PHP 7. Many hosters have still PHP 5.x installed on their servers. However, support for PHP 5 ended and hosters are requested to switch over to PHP 7. This makes some code modifications necessary as PHP 7 handles some code and variables in a different way. With the new KISS Advertiser version, you can easily switch to a higher PHP level without problems or error messages.

Besides this, the installer routine was improved as Joomla 3.5.x has got some problems with big installer files. KISS Advertiser had an installer file with more than 8 MB size which lead to some upload breakdown due to timeout problems.

The installer was made smaller in order to eliminate this problem.

KISS recommends to update the component in order to benefit from the new and improved functionality of the classifieds market.
