We will fix the link problem today, you may look at our donwload area, the version number will remain 1.5.42 but the date of the download file will be changed from Mar 31st to April 1st. Will be probably available this afternoon CEST.

The image problem may be due to your password protected site.
You may change anything you like except for the file ksadvertiser.html.php which contains the license and copyright information. Changing this file leads to a crash of the component.
Yes, the component expects category images in the regular stories images folder.

Ok, just realised there is now a version 1.5.42!

I only downloaded 1.5.41 quite recently so missed that!

I will install 1.5.42 in the normal fashion an see if that fixes things!

Will confirm one way or the other.

UPDATE: Ok, installed 1.5.42 and the link problem still exists, the image upload problem still exists. The ad save worked ok but that seemed intermittent.

Thanks for your reply.

I do not have SEF switched on in global config nor do I have any SEF extensions installed.

The link available when viewing a category is correct, it is the link on the opening page of the component which is definitely wrong.

Is this something I can change manually, or will this affect the licence agreement?

Happy to post this as a bug.

The only thing I can think is that it is currently located in a password protected domain while I finalise the config.


With regard to the image upload, can I ftp images for admin use, for the categories etc. Are these just in the regular stories images folder?
